What is with Vermont and the total lack of food? It was also a good ten miles between exits off the freeway which is entirely unacceptable to me. However, it's a good business practice for them. That form of seating makes planes quicker to board than the traditional rows 22-35 can now board method, and apparently the monetary difference from this, over all their planes, is compelling. Interestingly, in Australia, except on the trans-Pacific flights, everyone just boards at once in some sort of mass run. You do have assigned seats though. Maybe that's why it costs $8 million (approximately) to fly anywhere within Australia.
